Emina Medina del Campo Winery in Rueda D.O. represents the renewal and revolution of the wines from this winegrowing region. The building is surrounded by a 100,000 m2 plot of vineyards and olive trees, providing then a beautiful landscape whence both the Mota castle and the Castilian countryside can be admired

The winery has a remarkable modern architecture, equipped with the latest technology to produce wines. This design corresponds with the installations of photovoltaic power generators, in such a way that creates a sustainable project with a closed cycle of energy, so that the energy consumed in the winery is obtained in a clean and respectful way to the environment.

The building consist of 4,000 m2 plant lay out; the facade is dominated by glass strips that provide a pleasant view to the landscape and a better use of natural light. To support this natural light principle, the roof includes a series of translucent which make possible to work in the cellar without almost need of artificial light.

The winery includes 35 fully automated stainless steel tanks to control the temperature of wines going through the alcoholic fermentation. Likewise, the winery is supplemented with a 100 French barrels fleet, barrels which are annually renewed for the elaboration of wines fermented in oak barrels. Facilities include a place to rest on a rime over 100,000 bottles of sparkling and two completely automated bottling lines, one for still wines and the other for the degorging and labelling of sparkling wines.

Verdejo grape variety, grape of recognised international fame, is the foundation of wines under the Rueda DO. Nevertheless, Bodega Emina Medina del Campo encompasses a vineyard estate by Villalba de Adaja town where there are cultivated in addition to the Verdejo variety other varieties such as Sauvignon blanc and Viura. Varieties that confer that characteristic and distinctive touch to the wines elaborated in Bodega Emina.
